The National Registry presented the figures of 2014 which are impressive. In Spain, the percentage is 13%, in turn, it has risen in the Balearic Islands to 32.6%.
In 2014 9.248 properties were sold in the Balearic Islands (3470 new construction).
The Registry informed that the Germans are the greatest purchasers of properties (34.5%), followed by the British (19.4%) and Sweden in third place (7%).
One of the reasons is the devaluation of the euro, which means for the foreign buyers that our prices are very competitive.
Moreover, it is worth to mention that 16.3% of the real estate registered a purchase value of EUR 500,000 or a higher value. This is closely linked to the famous "Golden Visa".
With regard to the living area of the property, 51.5% were more than 80 square meters.
One last on accentuating point is that 18.8% of the properties were bought by companies. In the end it reflects the interest that investment is property purchase.

No suggestions to improve the service. It has been fantastic. The Lawyers have done a great job and we have appreciated their support in some of the issues we have had after the purchase. We would very happy recommend ILLESLEX to other UK clients.
