Everything is ready for the celebration of the Mallorca Championships

The most important sporting event of all those held on the island is about to start, the Mallorca Championships, an ATP 250 tournament that will take place in Santa Ponsa between June 19 and 26. It is the only grass tennis tournament held in Spain, and it is one of the best options for players to prepare for their participation in Wimbledon.

Thus, in Mallorca we will be able to see in action the world number one, Novak Djokovic, the Russian Daniil Medvédev (number 2), Dominic Thiem (number 4), Pablo Carreño, Nick Kyorgios, Karen Kachanov, Pablo Andújar, Casper Ruud, Jaume Munar... A spectacular list of players, which will undoubtedly turn Mallorca into the center of world tennis attention for a week.

Twinned with Wimbledon (and soon with the Monte-Carlo Country Club), it has a long-term plan that aims to make Mallorca and Calviá a true international reference in the world of tennis. To inaugurate the new sports complex, after its refurbishment and enlargement, a match will be held on Friday 18th that will pit two world tennis legends against each other, such as the Croatian Goran Ivanisevic -Wimbledon champion- and the German Tommy Haas, who was number two in the world.
